I voted too.

It seems that it is possible to give several votes from the same device. I did so as an experiment, to see if it is possible. In fact I tend to consider this strategy not that fair... better if a single person has no unlimited votes. But then again, what do I know?

Renno has told us that it is possible to give one vote only once:
"From every device (computer, smartphone etc) You can vote only one time."
if you seem to be able to vote more than once then probably the previous vote is cancelled. :puzzled:
but if you have more than one device then it should be possible to give a vote with each device. :whistling:

btw: the camera seems to be resting today...

edit: at the moment the nest cameras are the second with 14 % of votes and the fish protection is the close third with 12 %. the tree planting and forest renovation in Maatsaul national park is in the leading position with a rather convincing 28 % of the votes.

Ame, this could well be. What is that place where Renno tells things?
I still wish terms to be more clearly stated when it comes to votings and polls. But this is not up to us, of course. The webpage itself has no such info.

Jo UK wrote:ESTONIAN ENVIRONMENTAL AWARD

This year the nest cameras have been submitted as one of the candidates for the Environmental Award of the Year in Estonia and Kotkaklubi deserves all our votes to support this entry.

The Environmental Award of the Year competition, organised by the Ministry of the Environment, is a competition the aim of which is to recognise individuals and institutions/enterprises that care about our environment and make sure that others do as well.
(the /en should be deleted to get any more relevant information from the official page, however it is all in Estonian.)

Everyone can vote (including people who are not Estonian citizens), however, as far as I can see the voting page is written in Estonian only.
The voting page is here (the submission is called 'Projekt "Pesakaamerad" ' on that page):
http://maaleht.delfi.ee/news/maaleht/ke ... d=76542382

Please vote - our much-loved Kotkaklubi is worthy of all the support we can give it.
A short summary of the evaluation process (from the "official" page that is in Estonian only)
All projects submitted to the contest will go to a public vote. Ten projects that get the most votes will be evaluated by the Evaluation Committee formed by the Ministry of Environment.
The Committee will evaluate amongst other things public involvement in the project so show your support and vote! Winning the public vote is important :2thumbsup:

Good evening!

Glad to see that you all voted for our "Pesakaamerad" ! I put it twice in Facebook also to my friends. :D Seems what will be!

Thank you Ame for your letter... I think that the next year on this place we will not see our eagles anymore. They didn't build there a new nest...maybe they are working somewhere on another place or maybe they will rest the next year...to raise three eaglets, is not an easy job.
