maybe it is too dark there? not enough power from the solar panels?
the camera here also turns off much earlier than there is seemingly dark. the nest seems to be among thick trees so its surroundings are different than in Latvia where the nest is high above the ground in open air. high in the tree there is much more light than here i guess. .. but the solar panels should be somewhere in open.

I think this was a different bird than the one the day before. Plumage seems to be darker.

the camera stopped at 9:20 for some time but now it is back on-line.
there's still no Pontu archive for this camera.

that animal seems to have tall legs so i think it's an elk.
the bears in Korkeasaari zoo in Helsinki woke up last week on Feb 5th, a month earlier than normally.

two females. the intro to the video says that they retired to their den in normal time. they didn't look very sleepy.
