:hi: Biker

In the posting by Shanta we can see, that the one brought today at 6:20 was very big compared to some others.

Brooding the eggs starts with the last egg, so he chicks in one nest are of the same size.

yes. thanks Konrad. much bigger than most of the others. and recently also. it was already a few days ago.
What Shanta photographed can' t be from the same family as that cygnet which recently was discussed in detail. (whether it was brought with or without a head)

12:42 Loud screaming by Sulvi and Sulev landed with a prey :puzzled: (I don't see it on the right corner)

12:43 It seems that the prey fell down, Sulev was looking down and as tried to get it but didn't managed, he walked to the left on the V branch

Hi Hellem, soon after arrival Sulev looked down several times and tried to get something from down there. We'll have to wait and see if the prey is safe in the corner, or lost.

Hellem and Timea

Could it be, that Sulev brought only a bunch of hay? :puzzled:
He has not done so before, but in my opinion there are such new dry plants in the corner now, which were not there in the morning.

I am not at all sure, because also existing straws may have been moved to another place since about 9 o’clock today, when I captured a picture before this one.

Hi Konrad, yes, can very well be. When flown in, it showed like a dark lump, and Sulvi soon became silent. We still need a good look at the storage corner. Edit: If it is a bundle of straw, I think it is a great idea of Sulev, to make the bottom of the storage corner more safe to place food.
