If they have eaglets, they can arrive here at the end of summer. They are curious.laranjeiras wrote: ↑March 23rd, 2019, 6:30 pm all!
thank you Shanta and Sonchik for the fabulous videos - it was great to see eagles and to know they are in the area and we might see more of them over the season, even though they are not staying on this nest.

and good morning
Look what I found on the video by Urmas from yesterday morning 05:42. The eagle was there for 2 minutes.
The recordings by Urmas ... sadly it starts on YT at 2:25 the eagle was there earlier. I don't want make a copy from Urmas video, so to see the eagle, click on the red dot and bring it more to the left side and the video starts earlier. It seems, the eagle was checking the nest.

good morning! and thank you Shanta for the picture and video
I tried to record the event - but my first time ever was not a success! the eagle flew over the nest and came back and sat on the tree top - at this point (about 5.43:30) it's plumage seemed a bit dark, so it might have been a young eagle (ame's more experienced eye might be able to tell ) - it left (flying off to the right of the screen) at 5.44:40

I made a recording of Urmas`s video, i hope thats not illegal
This young eagle didnt seem to have rings, hard to say since it was flying at the speed of light (hehe)

That's why I have not uploaded my copy of his recording , maybe it's not fair ... but also think, Urmas don't say anything about it. Maybe a notice to him and he can made also a clip ... or he read here about this eagle in his video.
I also could not see a ring, but on slomo it's too blurry for me

Shanta, These are not videos from Urmas. This is the YT stream. Urmas archives them!
BTW: Thanks a lot for finding it
I did a video too- with zoom to the juvenile at the tree
And a few pictures

Crissy, it is much better to see in your gif, great! Thank you.
actually i don't see good, so i watch much in slow motion
and without Shanta's hint to eagle visit i wouldn't have seen it at all. Thanks, Shanta

Exactly These observations are very valuable when there is so little to see most of the time. Thank you both, again :)

this was great news!
after so many days without a single eagle. now two eagles!
they seemed to be flying together.
