13:04 Karl II starts dancing again .. both are dancing
She went on the curved branch. flew out and in again... it could be that she is the female from the last year
13:06 Karl II is sitting in the nest
13:06 OK.. that is not new to me..
she stands on Karl' head- that is new and it looks a bit strange
she settles down on his back (normal for me)

13:14:44 she popped into the nest .. Karl is preening himself
If you compare their feathers you can see that they are both worn out in the same way. They could be the same age.
12:23 very strong wind.. not good for transmission

At 12.53.27, Charles II returned, and at 12.53.32, the bride appeared behind him. She landed in the nest, and the bows began...

She doesn't look like little Kaia at all...
...only if she has become much more beautiful and stronger since August 2020...

So I think this cannot be Kaia, as we were convinced that she was very young and unexperienced - i.e. younger than Karl II
thank you Liz for all your work

Hello everyone,
15:30 Karl II has left the nest.
Many thanks to all for the pictures and reports!
So good that a female showed up already on the second day.
I believe, that it is little Kaia, too. The particular behavior looks so much like her. Hard to believe that this should be a coincidence.
If it is really her, I'm very happy that she seemed to be in much better condition than last year.
Hopefully she will come back and stay. Surely Karl II had left the nest to search for her.

15:51 Black Stork at nest! Is it the female? No rings and dirty legs.
But the stork has called at the arrival ... A strange male?
