If he doesn't find a couple, he will leave at the beginning of May and will visit the nest only sometimes. There was a "bachelor" season in BS nest in 2009.

unfortunately, we know this situation from recent years also on streamed Latvian black storks nests
as experts write - there is a shortage of females on the northern border of the spread of black storks

after long resting now he works and works

he worked mainly with the outer edge of the nest and tried to incorporate live twigs as well :mrgreen:

time is rarely possible to read accurately - the contrast is very low :bow: (often I do not even write it, usually it is only approximate)

preening, stork fluffed the moss and settled down (it is windy)

after one hour stork loudly calling arrived to the nest (11:50) - not long

and settled down

12:28 stand up, preening, ruffled his feathers, he looked around
and at 12:24 flew out

12:31:25 (approx.) and next we can hear the call (stork is probably not far)
