21:09 Feeding by Jan

22:19 Happy reunion

Depending on how the light is, it sometimes seems that Jan's head is brownish. I also have the problem with the Sigulda nest

Good morning everyone :hi:

Liz, thank you for your videos of the two feedings for good comparison. :2thumbsup:
Evidently both parents have different water bodies for fishing. Though it's not a rule but still Jan usually brings 1-3 big fish and Janika regurgitates small fish in 1-2 piles.

This morning Jan, full of energy, comes and goes with twigs and moss which he sometimes spreads on kids. :D So that the storklets even don't bother to stand up in anticipation of breakfast and only raised their heads when he flew in.

:hi: Liz,
to me too - I have no doubts ...

only Hellem has a different opinion. And the 2 + then maadla (Hellem quoted - without time - from the chat). These 3 opinions appeared much, much later. At 21.09 no one mentioned it on the chat (I have copies of the chat due to time). And maadla claimed that it was Jan at 22.19 and it was our Janika.

... we are human and we can all be wrong. As you wrote: "Depending on how the light is, it sometimes seems that Jan's head is brownish." (but no so like our Janika and there are also others signs)

thanx for your opinion, shots and vids :2thumbsup:
(I go later out)

:hi:

Thank you all for the great news, that Janika is back :loveshower:

Now, maybe it can be considered once again if it is necessary to equip a chick with a transmitter - if Janika vanished because of the human visit ... :puzzled:

I hooped you will like it! :D
we should put it on the first page .. I will take a look if there is still room for it

There would be space, but it wouldn't make sense! When I posted there it was only Jan on nest.
Maybe Juta or Jo UK will be so kind and add it to their area :help:

b/ updates are missing here on the forum and on the youtube too (Janika's arrival, hatching, death of Benjamin, ringing and now Janika's return)
