Summi wrote: August 13th, 2021, 7:01 pmSolo, do you know what the amount of food is that a black stork at the age of nearly 60 days eat per day.:book: ...
I don't know - Dr. Strazds wrote: "Do you think you can change that? Then start a campaign for the drainage system cleaners, in order to explain them their responsibility (towards this nest), to install at least 4 feeding places around the nest (each bird has its own feeding areas, which hardly overlap, and "one for each" is a too risky situation), which must have water and at least 1kg of live small fish every day. Already now."

(I have info only from the Rescue Station in Makov, CZ, but that is another situation: ... if I convert it to a one-day-old chicken, then about 10 - 12 chickens, if she eats fish, she arranges about 10 roaches with a size of 10 -15 cm)

I have info in my archive - later (but only general - how much in one nesting season)

youtube chat:
Anu Kõlar: Weight is 3.89 with bag

madli9031: they will send up the angry one last. They are also measuring and weighing.
Anu Kõlar: Urmas: let the most angry come up last 🙂 did you measure the length of the beak?

Anu Kõlar: Urmas: This time on the ground there are two veterinarians, specialists
madli9031: Urmas: This time we have 2 experts on the ground, one of them is a BS specialist.

madli9031 - U: On daytime we made sure adult storks would have a place to find food. If they can find it...
Anu Kõlar- Urmas: during the day we worked to make the old bird have more fish. I don't know if he wi'll find it

madli9031- No2 has 2 leetches.
madli9031- They are trying to catch the leetch...it is pretty deep in the throat. Uncomfortable for the bird. But a nasty parasite.
madli9031- It is deep.
madli9031- U: Veterinarian examination takes time.

madli9031- Urmas confirmed that they set up a food source for adults. (fish trap?) :loveshower:

madli9031 - Urmas asks for a rain coat.
