I find it very interesting to see how LSE female is testing if it is enough space for her to lay down. I have seen it before too.

That thing is huge! It must have fallen during the storm the other night. Linda or Sulev might be able to move it with no trouble, but these eagles are not nearly so large as they. Poor thing, she kept trying to snuggle down into the nest & that big branch was always in the middle of things.

:rotf: yes,its a huge 'Y' shaped branch and the LSE is too small to move it. I think she was a bit 'irritated' too.

Did somebody happen to watch the camera at the time of the storm? The destruction is amazing... first time i see that half of the forest is ripped down  .And i am glad this place is even untouched.

I see I was wrong. Excuse me - fireblade. You did a great work with this video. I watched the LSE also some time - it is so interesting how they work to prepare the nest for the next year.
Oliv: Thanks for telling me that I made a mistake.
Kindest regards

I had a look at the nest just now but it seems that there were no LSE this day. Nothing has been changed in the nest - perhaps tomorrow?

I loved the twig episode. I hope to hear them screaming, too! These are lovely birds - we don't have them in the UK [or in western Europe at all?].

Yes, please, if anyone made a video, post it for those of us who missed the twig drama.
