Metal rings may bear instructions in Russian - "report to the ringing center" - but otherwise Latin letters are used.

There is a raptor ringing data base, an evolving project: http://rrrcn.ru/en/ringing/bd. Ringed in 2012: http://rrrcn.ru/en/archives/12947

Understand the problem with "pirate" observations for the ringing centres, but same time we can't make all our life according spiteful persons.
Asked our ringing centre about that problem, but this is not the case here. Also the problem is not raised within the meetings of ringing centres.
So I have the question - how serious is the problem with publishing of ringed bird images and where it is the problem? In Poland, Hungary?

That is decreasing interest among people, if that kind of restrictions will be with ringed bird photos. Not to speak about special websites for colour ringing pictures, like
http://www.crb-photoguide.com/specie_int.htm

But if the problem is really serious, then we should act accordingly.

I saw a flying young black stork today!!! :loveshower: No sooner had we entered Poland in Slawatychy, a flying stork appeared. When I looked at it attentively, I saw it is not white but a juvenile black stork! It moved so fast that I couldn't make a picture.

Oh dear...it happened to you, lucky you!
This moment will be in your head forever. Pictures are 2. row, I think.
So you are taking some vacation days in Poland?
Some time ago, I found a Polish forum dealing (amongst others) with BS in Poland.
If you know something, asteria - please write!
I'm not quite sure, but I found signs of Lucy in there.
Perhaps she sometimes can tell about what's on in Poland...

No, I spend my vacations not only in Poland, but we are traveling through many European countries by car. Yesterday we stayed in Poland but now moved to Hungary and will spend here 2 days. Here we didn't see black storks any more, but there are still some nests with young white storks, not many though.

Lena101 - there are numerous possibilities to  post about white storks and their webcams (installed all over our country in an "inflationary" manner - and forgive me: they've taken a leadership within the German birder community)
Just take some more looks into Storchenelke's Plauderecke...
...WHY not in here, must have a reason
