Those photos show it all. Poor Mr Rhodes who is confronted with this tragedy every day.

I saw the report and the pictures a few days ago on Karsten Rhodes Blog, it's such a tragedy and it makes my very sad to hear this

What is the code on white ring of this juvenile stork?

It is not very clear, but can anyone see what is on the ring, here?

Maybe first letter is a C or an O .... second a Y .... but I´m not sure ....

perhaps funny question - is there nobody banding storks and eagles in Russia? And if there are people doing it - are they using cyrillic letters for the rings?
