Great!
Just today managed to prepare main page for this camera and now the stork arrived.
The camera is different of previous, more wide lens and smaller on tree. As it was not sense to install it in the same place as previous years (most of view might be two mossy trunks of an oak), so we fixed it on the right trunk in last year view. The aim was to get sight to the flying corridor, so it was mandatory to fix it lower. But there is no more branches to go further with cam. Hence, we measured the possible height of stork on nest, the angle of view is too low. The head of standing stork is mainly missing...
But best thing that stork arrived! Very similar time as two years ago.
Thanks, Felis silvestris for informative new topic about BS cam!
We installed this week every day something or prepared for, so even no time to inform about launched cameras appeared... but you can manage independently very well.

The forecast is better than two years ago: no snow and much warmer, not a single night with the degrees below zero.

And left now, and it was great to see the stork vanish between the trees! It works!Urmas wrote:... so we fixed it on the right trunk in last year view. Thank you, Urmas, for all the work. We are prepared ... knowing about the approximate times!Urmas wrote:Thanks, Felis silvestris for informative new topic about BS cam!

What a joy!
The webcam has just started and so quickly the first black stork arrived.
Thank you very much, to all of you, for the wonderful pics and videos of the beautiful Tiina (?).
I'm so happy, to watch this season from the beginning on.

But it seems like the streaming of data from the camera is quite slow. There are interrupts every tenth second when the picture freezes.Urmas wrote:Great!

At least here in Sweden with a fast internet connection. Last year the streaming was perfect.

I think today all the webcams from Estonia have a little problem, all of the "stutter" a bit. I'm sure it is getting better with time!

my camera also freezes and stops often... again it went off.
but opening of the camera season yesterday is something which can be called perfect timing.
congratulations!
(but the camera angle looks really dangerous now. )

Ame, we will see how far the poop shots reach - as Urmas writes: But there is no more branches to go further with cam Unless they put a pole there ... or get cams with little wipers

Thank you to Urmas and all the other eagle-men and techno-men, who makes it possible, that the cam works at precisely the right time.
