Kati took back some frogs. A little reserve for the next feeding.

I hope that today Karl is not gone so long and finds enough food.

Exactly my thoughts, Swenja. We'll see.

It's another warm and dry day on the nest. The chicks sleep in Kati's shade.

A climatologist was speaking in the news tonight that such warm weather and almost no rain would probably continue also in June. Hope for rain dies last ....
Thank you for the info Summi. Too bad, a good rain shower would have been nice.

I didn't watch. Did Karl feed his chicks since he's back?

About the weather, I found this:
So maybe next week there will be some rain. Starting from Tuesday 5th.

Oh, Ute, please continue. The climatologist might have been erroneous just as we all are and maybe the only rain cloud above Estonia will be in Karula.
I'm grateful for all your pictures and reports and so happy being together with you in this storkaholics community. :D

But I have to keep a little more distance, it tears my heart otherwise, if something happens ..... I am particularly afraid that Kati can not master her task and begins to reduce. Every old stork makes this decision for itself.
Actually, the little ones are already too big for that, but I had to experience it so often. I will never publish these pictures. But they are branded in my soul.

So far all three chicks are really OK, Ute. Healthy and growing well.
Let's stay optimistic.
