Hello everyone
it sounds as they are more bees (flys) than before - ?
btw, where can we all find the original data which are send by the new two transmitter now ?
are here the first data http://birdmap.5dvision.ee/DE ?
or who is looking for this link and who is looking for the google-links (and adds the data) ?
and https://drive.google.com/open?id=1wJhc8 ... sp=sharing - are the google-links like this "only" private maps ?
or existing for every bs (bird) with transmitter ?
somewhere i had a link with the database for migration, but i cannot find it any more :(
it was a different link than the ones above - do you know ?
(e. g. movebank.org is a database - but has looduskalender its own database ?)

First, the data from the two new transmitters will not be published until the birds leave Estonia. For the safety of the birds and the nest, the locations will be restricted. We don't want the whole world to know where the birds and their nest are. There are some strange people who may want to damage the area.
As to the Birdmap data we thank Urmas for keeping us updated. As he is away just now, don't expect it to change soon.
The tracker maps we are privileged to see are also very limited in access. Only two people plus Urmas have access to that site. Maybe we shall be able to track this year's young BS too, but not until they have begun migration.

i'm very glad about it !
but - how is the security garanteed in the later time, when they come back or stay at another place ?
is there something like a filter or comes the data later than they are there *could imagine this as a good way... ?

On the return to Estonia, the same procedure happens again. Once inside the country the location information is not available. At the moment we can see that Karula is in Turkey. I suppose it would be possible to go to the general area and just wait for a black stork to come into view. But the black stork is very shy around people so we would be unlikely to get close to it.
There is no time delay on the tracker maps. That could become a possibility in the future if it seems necessary.

more food on the ground
fish?
fish
You only see it when you look at it picture by picture. A video is not worth it, you would not see anything.
