@Ychri: I think there is no problem. Last year I was very, very confused about all the different cams, forums. This year I'm still a bit confused  .
If Admins see our posts in the wrong thread I think they will move it to the right place.

What has happened to the trees and woods behind the nest. It looks as if it has been cleared and that a road might be coming thru. Mods do you know anything about this?

If Tuuli and Remo do not show up soon will someone go looking to see if they have moved to another nest? I hope nothing has happened to either one of them. Are either of them banded?

Good morning :hi:

The forest is like it was last season - maybe the view looks strange to you because there are still no leafs on the trees?

I don´t know when it is the best time for KK Eaglemen to go and observe the nesting area, to see if Tuuli and Remo built another nest not far away - but I guess when banding time gets close they will have a look.

Starling already answered to you - Tuuli and Remo are not banded.

not sure if it's the light or if a bird has done some work on the nest bowl? :puzzled:

Laranjeiras :hi:

I checked this mornings early pontu pics, but they gave no hint that a bird has been here. Probably it is the changing light and that the stormy wind from yesterday moved dry leafs over and around and off.
And the nettles on the nest begin to grow, the small green leafy sprouts ...

I miss seeing the parents here too, but maybe they have chosen to nest in a different spot after what happened to Stephi last hear. I fear the goshawk who killed Stephi may have this area as its territory, and the same thing could happen to a new baby this year. Tuuli and Remo know best.

Perhaps they built a new nest and maybe even incubate an egg there. Besides this nest was too far from the places of LSE hunting and that is why they had to leave Stephi alone so often. With Tormi it was OK but last year the tragedy happened because of that too.
