Yes, I was thinking about the same thing. First night alone. She seems a bit nervous, listening and looking around all the time. Let's hope Maia will be home tomorrow.

I noticed it too, and I thought maybe she saw Maia, and that she is around even if we can`t see her. That is my hope (cross my fingers).

07:00 - It`s raining. The eaglet is alone, no Maia to protect her. She is calling.

8:14 Magnus brings breakfast, a big mole. The eaglet is not eating it yet.

It is 8:53 and she is still calling for Maia to come help her eat.

9:26 She is dragging the mole around in the nest and has no idea where to begin.

9:28 I think the eaglet finally got a few pieces, but not enough. Growing up is hard work.

Moles are hard to cut for the eaglets. The next prey is a vole
