Liz, thank you for letting us know, but for me it is impossible to tell by the sound if it is Maia or Magnus. I'm too inexperienced.
Let's hope she'll be visiting the nest soon. P.S. Went back in time and don't hear it. Also Eaglet does not react, I don't know.

I heard it too and it sure sounds like Maia.
She must have heard Magnus and eaglet communicate.

I think it is her. The Latvian female did not come immediately into the nest. She started to communicate with the chick.
She will come if she thinks it is safe for her.

Not yet. She only got the rings yesterday, so the naming process hasn't begun. But at least Ülo said during the ringing that the measurements suggest the eaglet is a female.

YAY, Maia! No food with her, but making everybody happy by just being here again :-)

Maia seems a bit nervous but Eaglet is chirping happily. Maia pulls out the Mole and starts feeding it.
