Loch Garten

It looks like a turnaround for EJ.
I am happy that she is finally fishing herself and even leaves the eggs alone for hours now.

Junior probably thought he was getting some fish, because when he landed in the nest, she was already sitting in the tree with her fish.

Loch Arkaig

Louis tried to mate with Aila, but she refused.

The same thing happened yesterday at Clarach's.
I don't think there'll be a second egg in either nest.

Loch Garten, Scotland - the agony has ended: eggs were left alone more than 5 hours & GJ doesn't breed. EJ might have time to recover.

Loch of The Lowes, Scotland

The time for egg hatching is fast approaching, and our Osprey pair have been patiently attending to their three eggs. As of today – 17th May – we are on day 34!

Aila attacked him, but couldn't stop him.

Aila's looking for eggs.

:hi: Birdfriend,

This year is extreme.
Clarach in Aberfoyle has lost her eggs to crows. EJ won't have any chicks because her new partner won't feed her.
That's three failed nests just in Scotland.
