A lot going on at the Savannah nest, aka Skidaway. We think Rhett is back but he's not really coming to or working on the nest. This Osprey keeps flying around and alerting, then flies off. The first day, he did land, twice. After that, he's not landing on the nest which is a new nest. The original nest was torn down.

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

It’s time to say goodbye.

As of this morning, the Belwood Lake OspreyCam has been permanently shut down and will be removed from the nesting platform in order to give these birds some much deserved privacy.

seira, thank you for sharing the news. It's very sad for me, I loved that nest, mostly Luther. I will miss him and his mate Sara.
Good luck for them and hopefully still many offsprings, stay safe.
Luther stays in my memories and in my avatar.
