I myself cannot publish pictures, I have no program for capturing them, that is why I would like to copy from you, and there is no pic of both pikes at the Finnish Forum.

I don't know whether they already consumed the smaller of the two big pikes that Vesa, the ringer, left on the nest - or did Penna perhaps fetch it for himself, anyhow it is gone by now ...

I read from net news that the smaller gift pike was eaten by Miila alone, she must have been hungry and nervous The bigger pike was fed to the chicks yesterday and today.

We will probably see this banded male next year - provided that Malin is impressed by him and the fish.

@Rita: This nest is worth to watching a whole season:

Smelling the Baltic Sea, a beautiful little bay with marina, colourful sunsets & sunrises, a view to the Turku-Stockholm passage with marine traffic, I like that.

Unfortunately Paltamo cam is stuck since end of July... SEILI is still an alternative with action!

I'm watching #3 in Finland and I wonder why the youngsters are so upset / noisy while there's plenty of food? Is it because they feel 'there's something in the air'?? (the trip southwards)
