In both nests the chicks grow up well supplied and protected.
In Bavaria even with a front garden.

The chicks grow nicely, the parents built up the rail.
Late night fishes brought by the great Dad.
Mommy takes a short break ...for a round to fly.

... and back she is. During this time Dad was feeding.
Mom took the fish from him and Dad starts to fight with the restive big branch.
...now we have again a better view to the chicks, thank you for removing.

Late night feeding for chicks...
...and then also for Mom.
Cuddle with Mom and holding warm for the night.
Maybe it is a completely new pair, the nest looks very different to the last two seasons. More soft material and grass was brought and more sticks and branches arranged.

The nest was completely emptied and then filled with fresh branches and sod, the eagles only had to dig the nest hole.

I know that too, Bawet, but in my opinion is it now different as at this stage in comparison to the last years.

Another very calm feeding at the nest, the siblings are very peaceful. I have seen no bonking when I watch. Dad provides plenty food. It is a pleasure for me to observe this family.

I'm sure the new woman is a better housewife.
I took another good look at the male yesterday. He stood in front for a while and I could look at him, so I think he's the old male.

That would be great, I like him, he is a very good Dad. The resemblance is here, for sure.Bawet wrote: ↑June 14th, 2018, 9:02 am Birdfriend,
