Steinhuder Meer

I don't know, if this an intruder or not. Both siblings are very excited although there is a big fish in the nest. :puzzled:

I mean, Dad comes too in this situation, has an half eaten fish, alert calls, then flies away with this fish.
Image

Then finally one chick eats the big fish, which was there.
Image

The young osprey have left the nest and this half eaten fish.

The crows have gathered again and annoyed

Image

Image

Suddenly a violent storm with strong gusts of wind
The Osprey did not come out of the nest. Always emergency landing. At the end he landed on the dead tree. The wind ripped him up again and again.
Image

As fast as the storm came, it was gone again. The crows quickly cleared the fish and eaten the fish.
Image

Now all is ok, both Ospreys are in the nest.

Thanks, Jujani! Now it's 21:23, before a half hour there was again a short and heavy storm, but nobody was at the nest. Hope, that they are safe.

Are the leaves or insects, I saw it today several times
Image

The osprey was again disturbed in the eating, a lot of crows were heard.
Image

Then it was too much for him and he flew away with the fish.
Image

The other remained in the nest and screamed

It may be that it was such a thing. This year, however, there are also many mosquitoes, since it was hot and very humid this summer.

One hears the sound, the call of the Ospreys, wind and probably rain. The field where the camera shows the images is white. Whether the camera is broken?

The camera runs again and there are remains of a feast or fishmassaker in the nest. No crows to see.

Later
Osprey does not have to eat the fish, but be careful. Daddy still delivers a lot of fish.

The two young Ospreys have been screaming for hours. It must be a strange Osprey who threatens them. But you also hear other voices nearby, sounds like geese. Great excitement in the nest.
