even in the animal kingdom there are changes of our favourites at the nests
I grieve for previous individuals, whatever is the reason for the change
we had a lot of interesting moments here
for me, the year with Solo ( ) is unforgettable

At first -2 eagles around the nest. Probably Baron and the new female NF.
Eagle in - and out (cam#5). Then an eagle back to left top branch - and:
NF coming into the nest at 16.24 and drops down to bouncy branch.
NF stays over night on bouncy branch after some preening.
At 0.40 in Lady Hawks video a male eagle (Baron?) is calling
Warning or love call? Is she too young? Is she accepted or not? (time will show) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUYgOSl5xpA

November 16
11:15 a crow followed ....
by an sparrowhawk or goshawk . For me it looks rather like an goshawk male. very bright feather color
12:15 a last year eaglet on the stones at the ground
It is too small for a goshawk, I think. Have a look at the picture where a hooded crow from below makes some false attack against the sparrowhavk - small and with thin tarses/legs

You're right. Now in size comparison to crow I can see it. I was unsure because of the bright color.
The feather color is almost the same for juvenile sparrowhawk and goshawk. It corresponds to the plumage of the males.

Rather good news - for us ;-)

A small group of people around the world want to see some nestbuilding and bonding at this nest - asap.
