Hello, this morning I captured photos of the couple on the nest before they leave.
The female, I think, was alone on the nest

Unfortunately, I was not able to capture the arrival of the male nor the flight of the couple and I did not note the hour....
I shall do better the next time....

There is an explicit and readily noticeable difference in the appearance and size of these eagles' tail marks 8-)

- the male eagle

- the female eagle

Macko50 is, unfortunately, right. The female's left leg is really injured. viewtopic.php?p=299553#p299553

Here's another video, showing that the female has a big problem with standing on her left leg.

Let's hope that this is not a very serious injury.

Danish Cam is off, right? I never know if it is my problem or if the cam is really offline.

Doesn't work for me either. And I can't find any info on the site itself about it.

Danish WTE cam still not working. I just read on their facebooksite (in Danish) that it is very cloudy and the cam obviously runs on solar power, so that's probably the reason why it is not working at the moment.

Danish WTE facebooksite: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hav%C3%B ... 5462477788

Is a video of the egg there too.

funny, Kukelke: I also discovered the Facebook site, and I asked people there why the cam is off.
They answered it is off because they need sun :)

PS: Cam has been working fine since the afternoon, they even have a night cam (infrared). WOW!

Good morning! :hi:

Leg injury does not discourage the female to fulfill parental duties.
I wonder how she copes with hunting using only one foot?

It seems that the injured leg of the female is slowly recovering.
The male has provided her food, which she ate with appetite using her left foot successfully! :loveshower:

SHE is just presenting the added egg to HIM. Always funny to watch, when the pappas want to see their eggs.

She is sitting a bit strange on these eggs, might still be the uncomfortable leg?
