:hi:
Last year cam was turned off on August 5th, and last time I saw the eaglet on August 4th. So I hope we will see juvies in the nest before end of this season.
On the one hand it's sad we can't watch them (empty nest syndrome), but on the other hand it's a joy they succesfully fledged.
Ground watchers reports are very valuable, but sometimes sad (like in case of Decorah nest)
Thank you Owlie and all the others for your reports also. I will obviously watch this cam next year (if, of course, Pandion will collect enough money)
BTW We have an eglet in the nest now.

Owlie, Mamicja :hi: Many many thanks for your comments and photos... :loveshower: as I can only see the forum but not live webcams due to my laptop little capacity... That has been a pleasure to observe these WTE juvies to grow and fledge. I am so happy for them

Evening events
20:58 Parent brought a prey and eaglet (boy) flew in.
Image
He started eating, but at 21:05 big sister arrived and frightened him.
Image

Image

Image
He flew away at 21:10 and sister ate the prey.
When the prey was finished she moved on the parent's branch and later on the branch on right side of the nest. Now she is sleeping there.
Image

Image
I have an impression, that now sister is much bigger then her brother, and he afraids her.
They became wonderful juvies, aren't they?

Today I didn't notice any eaglet's visit, only something brown ( hank of fur?) was fluttering in the wind.
Image
20:50 Both eaglets and parent with a big grey prey flew in.

Eaglets visits became less frequent, but I belive they practise hunting somewhere at the sea shore or the lake. Sucessful hunting, eaglets.

Very early Thursday 31st July
I had a look at the Danish cam and got a picture from yesterday (Wednesday) at 13:06:44. Maybe it is a sign that the camera has been closed for the season. I found no further information on FB.
So bye bye eaglets and good luck with hunting training!

EDIT 14:10 Danish time
Tha camera is still working ... No eagles in the nest.

It really looks like autumn. No sign of eaglets, no one calls, only small grey birds visited the nest. I suppose the cam will be turned off soon.
