The eaglet seems to have something hanging from the beak

MAY 7.
Just while the camera was turned into direction East, the male came in with a Garfish from the bay area. A crow followed the eagle - in top of the scap.
Ole Friis Larsens comment to the turning/panning of the camera and the arrival of the male with a Garfish:
"With regard to panning, we have agreed that, like last year, we will announce some times so that you are prepared. We are also set on making a video. We do that one day when the weather is better and we can show it all a little more beautifully.
Kim Skelmose, who controls the camera, occasionally makes some spontaneous pans in an attempt to get a video of one of the adult / adult eagles flying into the nest. The panning this morning was just such an attempt because I was in the area to count bird migration and happened to see one of the adult / adult eagles fly towards the nest with a hornfish(Garfish) in such good time that Kim could manage to respond to a call and pan , so it was possible to see the eagle come to the nest with the hornfish - you could even see that it was bullied by that crow along the way."
8 sec. earlier the Eagle followed by the Crow looked like this. In the center of the scap, just above the horizon:
2 min. later female is fixing the Garfish and the male has already left the nest

It looks as if there still is some inflammation in the left eye of the chick

What happened to the second eaglet?
It looks as if the eaglet is choking

It looks so sad again
Female is eating the water bird herself when the eaglet is resting

A lovely sight this morning!
The eaglet has something in the left eye - a trash or discharge?
But it is eating with a good appetite and seems to be well

It looks like discharge to me
Hope it gets better - there is better weather coming, maybe sunshine will dry off that ...

There was a fierce fight of some piece of food between the parents
Finally the food flew overboard - so no-one ate it. OR she swallowed it - it went so fast that I don't really know how it vanished.
The left eye doesn't look the same as the dark and big right eye

Thank you for comments and photos
The left eye of the eaglet really looks very bad.
Something is popping out of the pupil.
I do not know what this is at all.
But an eagle with just one eye functioning is in a bad situation, when it gets independent of the parents.
During hunt and catch of prey 2 eyes are needed to put the claws at the right place.
It is really a handicap for an eagle to live with just one eye. I am sure.
We can only watch and see.
I am sure Ole and Kim are aware of the situation and are in contact with a veterinarian.
I have had a look at an eye illness called keratoconus on the internet.
Here some scaps from noon
Same situation

DOF has made a video of the casting of a pellet the. 9. of May in the morning
I got a scap of the situation in the morning May the 9.
You see the pellet in front of the foot of the eagle.

Hello everybody. I just recently started watching this nest, but I see the chick alone most of the time. Also I haven't seen it getting any food lately. Is it going to be OK?

madlaa and welcome
At least one of the parents mostly sits on a branch nearby in the nest tree, so even if we don't see them in the cam view, they most probably are near. On the cam page you can read more of for example feedings, the eaglet is already so big that it doesn't need food every hour. There has not been lack of food in the nest so far.
Ole Friis Larsen comments the article on the DOF page: there is hope for our eaglet. Whose advantage must be that s/he learns to use and live with one eye from beginning - if the eye now is lost already - we don't know. It doesn't seem to bother her/him so far as far as seeing around is concerned, at least I have not seen the eaglet to be clumsy any way ... O F L also informs, that the eaglet will not be ringed or equipped with a GPS sender of ethical reasons.

May 14th
I read there has been a feeding in the afternoon. Just a moment ago Mum tried to dig out something out of nestovers, a wing. and gave a morsel to the eaglet. The eaglet tried to crawl under Mum for some shade - I don't know how cold it is out there ...
A delivery by Dad
A garfish, I think, directly fed to the eaglet by Mum

The garfish is gone
A new prey - a cormorant?
The eaglet is not especially hungry, nibbles itself on the bird's claws, but Mum can eat herself
I can now see that the eaglet turns her/his head towards the food in a special way focusing with the right eye
