Spring and Summer in Finland

Both are back again, Silk ear and her mate. I saw them in the afternoon together on the trunk of a pine tree behind the rock. They were sitting there together on a pine branch and they ate the flowers of the pine. Then they were climbing up and down and around on the trunk like having a nice time, playing. Soon Silk ear jumped on the ground, walked over the small path to the house, and her mate followed her. After two minutes I saw them on the top of the telephone pole by the path. Silk Ear walked along the telephone line and her mate followed after her.. They walked till the wall of the house, climden it, jumped up on the roof.. There were they soon: On the feeder! sad but I had no camera at hands when watched their route along the line..

Silk ear watching the older dog, and just spending time, ate some few nuts and left.

Later in the afternoon there was some thunder, not bad.. and some rain. The mate of Silk ear.. As you can see he reacted at once when Silk ear was closing...

When watched again for few minutes later there was the mate of Silk ear:

Soon after Silk ear, the one who follows her - to be honest, I can't be 100% sure that they are a couple. They May be also just friends, but it would be fun as well!

I have been watching the live feed of Oil flowing into the gulf -- your squirrels are a good antidote.

Looks like little Ms Silk ears can dart about when she wants to.

Surprise at 17:00 Two Silk ears!

It was day of surprises. Two new squirrels appeared one after the other. I'm not sure anymore who is who

He looked so a happy squirrel.. Have we seen him before? Yes..But the fur has changed color,.. of course all squirrels are a bit different looking and they have their own personal temperament too.

The next visitor, at 7:45, it's the one of the new squirrels I think I had not seen before yesterday. Is she the Other Silk ear..

26th May continues, some minutes later in the morning.

Suddenly something was happening -it's before 8:00:



The next second he ( or who?? was back - I thought this is the same as in previous post, the happy looking squirrel..but it can't be):


Two, again two squirrels. The one to the right chased the other away. He, seemengly the 'happy face' squirrel tried to return but... it was better to keep away, I think.

In the afternoon there was the other Silk ear. Maybe it is a cousin of Silk ear the first Ears are like, color too but the tail is different, a bit thicker.. maybe.

I had no possibility to follow her..

But there visited some-one other after the Cousin of Silk ear:

May I introduce: Cousin of he Silk Ear! A lively and curious Squirrel lady with good self esteem, maybe a mother. Nuts for today are finished
