Today there were two squirrels at place when I watched from the window at 9:30, Oscar and Smiley. Could they both be younsters, because they are both more brown than the adults - and it has been told that adults change their color to gray earlier??

I took face pics of the squirrel from the 25th October. I think it is the same as the one today.. It could be one last summer's babies! 8-) ..this is difficult :help: Its body is quite gray?..hm.. maybe it was born in the spring time.. :innocent:

What a nice video  Maybe I have to construct one more feeder like that on the captures I took from the video. I have materials at hands, a saw and a hammer, also a piece of that transparent one:

Olga,I don't think your squirrels need any more feeders.. .. they already have several princely palaces ..and they seem entirely satisfied too. !!
Have they eaten the apples in your garden yet ?
Time to  now,see you tomorrow..

Oscar was sitting in that position with a nut in his mouth for three minutes, only his ears were moving slightly. He was perhaps thinking about the squirrel dreams he had seen last night or making plans for today!

The darkest month of the year has begun, so I put an apple on the feeder for delight to all! Let's see if some one likes to taste it, it's an Finnish apple Lobo :D

The first guests I saw today at 14:00

:puzzled: maybe the red colour made them wary of eating the apple ? How strange, even the birds didn't try it.!!

Again these two squirrels, Oscar and Smiley were at same time in the area. I just wonder if they could they be siblings from last summer.

Yes, they have accepted the apple! I can say that the hole on the red apple is same kind with the holes that a saw on the apples on my single apple tree. I just wondered that who has made them - I think I know.. Because there were no worms on those apples. It is af course possible that some birds also had tasted them.

Who is this squirrel? at 11:36

It's not Charley, not Oscar, not Bud, not Smiley.. so, it could be Silk ear or Anja!
