Oh yes, Carmel. Winchester doesn't get much snow usually, but it is white outside. The man who was doing some building work here seems to have gone into hiding! It is too cold to mix concrete, mortar, or whatever it is called.

Yikes.. but he's right but there are cements that don't fear the cold.. :puzzled: maybe not suitable for the job in hand. He must be doing a 'state-of-the-art job.!
Here it snowed all day and hubby spent ages clearing it off the pathway,at regular intervals. I say;
Its like the leaves.. let them all fall and then clean-up but no .. :rotf: he's an active person. (you get to meet with all the neighbours then.. :whistling: :gathering: )

WOW! Winter storm Monica was one mean lady, but beautiful in her savagery! We have not yet had any snow in my area of the USA, hardly even any rain since the end of September. Poor plants!

I tried google translate and I am not at all sure of the meaning but I think maybe the other comments thought the speed was perhaps excessive (and that bus that pulls out in front of the car :shock: ).

I have never driven on snow. I drove in an inch of slush once.
