alice :hi:

I was afraid the cats around would watch the feeder and catch the birds - but my doggie pees from time to time downside on the treetrunks the feeder is standing on and maybe that´s what holds the cats away

Bea :hi: : Nice to hear your "project" is working :D . About the cat's near feeder. My neighbours cat love my feeders and the birds too  :whistling: . Now I've put around the feeders a lot of branches with thorns I've searching in the forest. It doesn't look very nice but it works  .

@Felis: I'm so sorry. I thought you had the same nice weather like us (Normally it is so  ). But tomorrow it is finished with nice weather. New snow will arrive this night  .

It was a really nice morning and I saw a lot of birds. On the field they're at least 20 bussards and red kites. It was so interesting to observe them. Unfortunately the birds don't want to come closer.

The snow we got today afternoon already, coming from north-east. I just looked out, it has snowed a lot and it is still snowing heavily!

Manu, you´re doing already very well with your cam - not only the quality of the pics, also the beautiful motives!

Felis, have just walked my doggie and a lot of heavy wet snow is falling .... *wäh*

Bea, I think not even a dog would get me out again today evening!
He would have to go for his walk like this:

The video with the cat is great, good idea  .
It has really nice motives around, but maybe I should all the same take a look to the instructions of the cam  . The cam has so much more to offer, but I'm so lazy and have no fun to read all this  .

That is no problem, then you use a bit a larger container (and muscles) :rotf:

Most probably the dog would get his own lift in this case :rotf: I'm living on the 7th floor ... :whistling:

Pulley (Flaschenzug) ... but the dog should not be too big and heavy!

What about a parachute for down and a tiny little missile for up?
