Great to see a Hawfinch visited your feeder. Maybe he will come back during wintertime....
I haven't seen such a bird in "real life".

Mops! Today she came, after several days. It was 18:00, and very dark.

 Nice to see her. But where are the others? Paula, Baby face?

The screenshots are edited:

I have to check how the pictures look with just with very slight editing:

No tassel fur growing yet on the ear tops of Mops.

..hm..bad, but not very very bad.. :D

We will see how the videos look like, and what youtube editor is able to do. Without edit they are almost black.

The squirrel I met today and yesterday is completely ready for winter season:

This squirrel ate sunflower seeds from my hands and took hazelnuts to hide them in the soil.

Nice to see your squirrel, asteria! It looks so fine!

My squirrels are still brown and they are afraid of me..well, but I haven't even tried to give seeds or nuts from my hand. They escape if they see my face or hand moving behind the glass.

I am not sure if I remember where you live... my memory... :puzzled:

Olga, it's like with people! Over here during the day the temperature might go up to 17, 18° C during day (yesterday even over 20°), and you will find people wearing winter boots and winter coats already, but on the same road also those wearing half pants and t-shirts!
Mops has beautiful glossy fur, looks very well, and she's enjoying autumn, while the other one thought "I better wear my winter clothes now, it's cold in the morning!"
Wonderful photo!

I live in Moscow and the picture was made in the forest park near my home. There are a lot of squrrels there but only some of them eat from hands, others are wild.

Oh, yes. it was Moscow! Your climate is different to ours, more continental.. Your summers are warmer than ours and your winters more cold.

Perhaps it is one reason why our squirrels are still brown, The Gulf Stream bring warm water to northern countries, and makers our winters not as cold as in Moscow.

Well, actually I don't know anymore! Climate change??.. Is it true already?? We have had more than 'never' (?) before , in last summer and now in fall, and all in all, now in fall time we have had more warm than it used to be in the earlier years as far as I do remember.. In Lapland people are skiing already though  :puzzled:

It's raining now in the night, a lot. It was raining in the evening, the rain will go on til morning, Sunday will be rainy from morning to night.. etc etc..

Olga, thank you for the drive. Nanu's eyes speak to you. Isn't she very well behaved in the car !!
I suppose that is just a sprinkle of snow compared to what happens later in winter ?
Are you ever cut off from the rest of the world when you have a metre of snow ? I wouldn't like that very much. So I am hoping....not too much for you this year...

What a wonderful drive through a landscape just a bit sprinkled with snow and a very well behaved Nanu! Thanks Olga! Superb music choice!
