That one icicle looks a bit like a light sabre.

Olga I hope your surgery goes very well -- quick recovery.

 It is colder again, -11 C today morning. But it has to be spring though:

Two squirrels seen yesterday, a couple? The one there on the plate looked to be Baby face himself with his a kind of short nose and not very long tassels! I am not for 100% sure.

And today: two Black Woodpeckers, a pair??

I think, yes. First one is female, second - male (he has more red on the top of the head).

 Yes, Margossa, squirrels are always sweet, and the Black woodpeckers are impressive, if not even solemn. I thought about them when I tied those two new big and fresh fat balls on my both apple tree tops! I was so happy to see that they noticed them quite soon and came again! :peek:
They are very alert, the curtain has to be all motionless, of my face they do not like at all!! :rotf:

Last night we got 10-15 cm more snow, it was cold and windy, but today morning the sky was bright and sparkling shiny, so I made a landscape video of the light around the hill, light predicting a bigger change, an imminent change to the real spring!

The brightness of today deserved trumpet music!

The music is served by youtube, but it is composed by some 'unknown' artist. Youtube didn't tell the name of the composer.

edit: I found something. Youtube says: Trumpet Sonata in G major I, andante, by Rosko, Kamil. Is he the player or the composer :puzzled:

 Thanks, Jo! I have not listened so much trumpet music, but I can hear. It is beautiful, and yes, the sound of it is like bright light!

Olga, thank you for wonderful video with great music on background. :loveshower:
The snowy landscape on your movie is fabulous but it seems that new snow not good for squirrels.

I found information about Trumpet Sonata in G major I, Andante.
Jean-Baptiste Loeillet (of London) is composer.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean-Bapti ... _of_London
Kamil Rosko is a Slovakian trumpet player.
Vladimir Ruso playing on the organ.

*** I suppose that Black Woodpeckers are very shy and careful and your face have nothing in common with this.

Thank you, Margossa!

One more trumpet video. It's a fanfare for the Nature preparing for spring and it is for Red squirrels too, preparing their breeding time :D
It's snowing here again, but the spring is there behind some few days.

This piece too is played by Kamil Rosko.

Wonderful pictures, Olga, and the music is really fitting! I think all over Europe we wait desperately for spring to come after this long, long dark time without sun! We had a some sun and melting snow as well, the last days! It is so good to feel the sun finally!
