Thank you Olga. Mops Jnr has such beautiful colouring,the best I have seen in a long time. But its maybe due to the sunshine/light ?

Long time no see!

The little Big ear:







Today in the morning as I was leaving to the back rehabilitation! I was about to miss my appointment..

In the afternoon, Mops Jr was sitting on the feeder roof:







Several squirrels have been visiting daily. Some videos could be added as I have uploaded them in youtube. But I have check the dates, and to look if I have made mistakes. I just can't be sure who is who now that I have been a bit busy.

Hi, macdoum. Yes, the new house will be ready soon, it's 250 m from our house. It can't be seen from my window, nor from the blue gate. A little untouched forest is there still between us and them, the new inhabitants.

It's there, on the Northern side of the hill top area on the farthest corner of their plot..

Two new houses are ready, but they are there quite far from us, on the other side of the hill road.

Yes, squirrels seem not to care

A shocking great news from Squirrel hill:

A young white tailed eagle has been sitting on a pine branch today in the morning! About 100 m from our house.

I was not at home. I didn't see it, but hubby told me that he saw it there, he said: It was big, a huge 'hawk'... What, did you say a Hawk?? How big, how did it look like? Colors?? Hubby described the big bird, the plumages, colors, the beak, etc..and I am sure it has been a young White tailed eagle!! His work room is on the second floor, the view from the window is straight to the southern side of the hill. No people lives there. There are growing long old pines..

It could be have been a passer by young eagle. The sea shore is not very far (20 km or so), Nuuksio national park is close to us too..

Olga - I keep my fingers crossed very much that the young eagle returns and you will see him! What news from Squirrel Hill, which maybe has to be renamed "Eagle Hill"?

I see one of our dark brown squirrels now every day running around in front of my office window. Must be busy collecting stores for the winter! A quite young one, I think.

Wow Olga, what news from Squirrel hill. I cross my fingers too that the young WTE will return and you see him.

Hello for long time

Each of our squirrels have been visiting. All of them: Mops Jr, Charley, 'Big ear', 'furry ear and.. hm.. the third one of the pups, probably Titian, youngsters now, and Baby face too. Paula has been waiting for me in the mornings. She comes immediately as I open the window and fill the feeder.

I haven't been at PC that much be cause I have been hurry with all kind of rehabilitation. It's progressing, but to sit at table is half forbidden.

It's fall!

I'll take videos some times, but less than earlier.
I see, my photobucket folder can be used again - it just happened that the monthly bandwidth got full for 100%.

Olga, I'm glad to see you here again, and that your rehabilitation is in progress
We all understand that you have to be careful, and that you spend less time on your computer.
But it's really wonderful to hear from Squirrel Hill again, and that all our little favorite friends are ok.
Thank you for your lovely pictures and videos, great to see Paula and Baby face together at the feeder. Paula really trust you now, Olga
