Wonderful pictures
Luz4711 wrote: Lussi05 could you please tell me with which kind of camera you took the pictures?
Thanks
Luz4711 :hi: I took the pictures with a regular digital camera, Canon PowerShot SX230 HS . I'm not a "technical" person, I have to keep it simple :D
But I also use a Speilrefleks (can't find an english translation, but Felis translated it to german once, and it's very similar to the norwegian word) camera, Canon EOS 550D, in fact, I'm a little unsure if the first picture, of the lilac, is taken with it. I hope I made this understandable

Thank you, yes I understand.
Canon EOS 550D = Digital single-lens reflex (SRL) camera (interchangeable lens) - German - Digitale Spiegelreflex Kamera (mit Wechselobjektiv). For research use for example http://www.canon.com and then link to your or another country. I was looking for a new cam and wanted some inspiration. The pictures above (roof garden) I took with an older Digital Rolley 3MP and I wanted something better resp. with more features. I thougt about the new Canon PS SX270, but fell in love with the Olympus SH 50 which is not available here yet. So today I went to a professional camera dealer - not supermarket - and bought the Olympus SH-25 MR for a good price (price fell since listing in 02/2012 at about 50%). I thought about taking photos from a nightingale from a distance of about 100 m but the seller said I need a truck for the equipment to do so as soon somebody invented a lense for it.
:slap:
Well, you will see pictures as soon as I get familiar to the MR, gave her a name and did some shooting in my area. 8-)
This sunflower with bumblebee was taking with a more older Digital Rolley 2 MP in summer 2001.

This is near the den (50 metres away) I discovered on May 14. So I think it's one of the foxes from there.

Thank you Lussi, it was a nice day. But now I'm a bit tired... I walked a lot and ride my bicycle.

What nice pic of the frog!
I wished I had them too, but all polliwogs died with the last frost

Nice photos, Manu! One could get envious of the landscape ...

Eden and Luz: Great photos :)

Eden: I have recently photographed one of those Broad-bodied Chaser (Libellula depressa) in my garden. One of my favorites dragonflies :)

Luz: Which camera have you bought? I ask because I hopefully soon will buy a new one.

Thank you, Manu and Raziel!
Raziel, I never know the names of the dragonflies by heart  , and, yes, especially the blue ones are adorable animals, like a flying fairy. In German they have the prosaic name Plattbauchlibelle …

Olympus SH 25MR. Listed in 2012, price went down about 50%, paid ca. 200 € incl. SD card class 10 32 GB

Much to learn about the cam. Did buy it at a professional fotographer shop, not in Supermarket.
I was about to get the new SH50, but was not available yet in Germany. About 300 € excl. SD card.

You can compare up to 3 cams to see the main differences. There is not much between the 2 except the optical zoom, new technology, whatever that means and so on. To me not so important. And the price 'cause it is new.
I surched in Youtube for videos with the name of cams to see test from users. Mostly from Japan. Wish you luck buying the right one for you.
