:loveshower: So nice to see Nanu and Nappu! I think it was very warm today, in Estonia at the cameras also the snow went away quickly. the red deer feeding place was deeply covered with snow in the morning, now there are only little rests.

We had 23° today and yesterday :shake: and the trees are getting green, you can almost watch the leaves grow. But it's going to get colder again over weekend and next week

Yes, the photos are really lovely, and the photographer is only 19 years old!

Olga, beautiful photos of Nanu and Nappu, it's so nice to see them again :loveshower:
And it's busy at your bird feeder too, blackbirds and squirrels are eating together, and the wood pigeon. I have not seen them yet, but I've heard them calling from the forest. We had a little snowfall this week too, but it disappeared quickly.
The Squirrels looks good, as always - thank you for your report from Squirrel Hill

 :slap: Does she look rounder today than yesterday??

She may have a drop of spruse tree resin (gum..pihkaa) on her fore head.

:puzzled: The day before yesterday I thought that her fore head fur is just wet..??

She looks very cute and very round.
There is something seriously endearing about European Red Squirrels.

(spruce resin, gum or sap -- I wonder how long it takes the squirrels to clean that gunk out, or if it bothers them)

There are 'two' Titians! One male and an other one female (with a very round bidy for these days) :slap: :help:
Today again I was wondering, how to make difference between those two. They are so similar to each other: the tassels, the colors, the face.. If course it's easy as a way :D But which one is the original Titian from last summer?? :puzzled:

I'll add pictures and videos of the 'male Titian' tomorrow. It's too late and

The sunset today on Squirrel Hill today:

Cocoa the Small ear is a male, I have believed that Cocoa the Small ear is a female, but to be honest I haven't even tried to look that carefully. It's not easy to see the genre of the youngest squirrels :D :

Yes, very beautiful sunset! And :loveshower: squirrels. Maybe the two "Cocoas" are brother and sister?

I also watched two of our squirrels, the red and one of the dark brown.

 Hi, Felis, I think it will the time to open a new thread for the spring and summer 2014 in Finland. Today while driving from Kirkkonummi city to home I saw from car window several yellow flowers, the first sign of the spring in Finland. I'll take a photo tomorrow, I know where from to find them: Tussilago farfara. The women at gym hall today also told they have seen Anemone hepaticas!

Hello Olga :hi:

Thank you very much for magnificent videos and pictures of squirrels.
Thank you also for beautiful video of Wood pigeons and Blackbirds.
It's nice to see Nanu and Nappu in good health.
Your video of the sunset is amazing with lovely colours on the sky.

Is it possible that Mr. Titian have a sister?
I don't remember whether Titian from last year is a female or a male.

Thank you macdoum and Felis silvestris for your links.
The bird feeder is cute and photos of young photographer are very beautiful.

See you in the new topic "Spring and summer in Finland 2014"
