Soon he jumped from the birch to the roof, walked on the other side of the house where the feeder is behind my work room window. I was editing the two first videos and there he was, little Mr. Cocoa the Small ear.

It was raining slightly, but the weather is really getting warmer at last!

Cocoa is fine:

He is a young male.
Perhaps the grownup males have teached him to not disturb their love affairs of the season??

Anyway, the wound does not seem worse than on the first day. The wound had been bleeding, that's why it looked that bad at first sight. There is little hairless area under the right ear.

Mr Cocoa left. He noticed me. He is a shy squirrel, brave though.
He returned soon. He might heard that I opened the window and put something new on his balcony.

On the original video I can see here that skin is clean and plain on the hairless area. The nails of squirrels are not big but they are rather thin and curved, very sharp.

Mrs Mops is so cute -- she looks very pleased patting the ground and her paws after the nut is hidden.

:hi:
Thank you Olga for your comments, videos and pictures.
I'm happy because Cocoa looks better than in earlier videos and photos. :loveshower:
It seems that everything is fine with him and soon not will be trace of the wound.
Mrs. Mops is amazing when she was hiding nuts on the lawn. :D
This video improves mood.

Yes, it is good to see that Cocoa is better. It maybe was good that the wound did bleed a bit, it swept dirt which could cause blood poisoning out.

I'm seeing our three squirrels now every day and mostly they are somehow together, chasing each other up and down trees. But they are much too fast to catch them on photo, I have several empty trees and branches ... :rotf:

Felis, yes :rotf:

They are really fast if they want, here it takes one second to climb to the roof.
