He didn't get the fat ball. But soon after him came Paula:


Paula was lucky to get the fat ball off the bag.

19th October:

Interesting news: two baby squirrels have been seen on the kitchen side of the house. Yesterday I saw one sitting and eating on the stub feeder. It was so small that it could sit on the edge of the feeder under the lower sill. My camera battery was empty for that moment...

Here is seen an adult on the same place:



Today there were two pups eating a fat ball hanging from the old birch trunk. They tried to go to the feeder, but the adult sitting there chased them back to the fat ball. Hubby told. I was not at home.

I have been busy. I have also some problem on/in my PC.. a spyware or a virus (I'll get helped on next Tuesday).

A young female looking like Paula. Her body is smaller.

The cute thief. It's a squirrel who seems to be specialized to take the fat ball, anyway she is rather stobborn:













This time she didn't get the fat ball off.

Paula got the fat ball. She was so happy! She stayed there for half an hour and rolled the fat ball and ate. At the end she left the remaining of it.

I don't know who it is. I think I should... but..

At last I happened to be at home and see the pups:
The videos are very bad..

Baby squirrels were eating on the kitchen side feeder.





It is just good that the pups stay on the other side of the house.
There they are more safe from Nappu !

21st October

This is probably the one whom I named as Cocoa. He has dark brown tassels, the fur color is like cocoa brown, or how to say, the color is not gold brown. Well, he is turning his fur to gray.

It's difficult to recognize him.. Mr Spock? Oscar?

Thank you Olga for lovely videos of all the visiting squirrels,even the baby ones. You have many faithful friends coming for food. I am sure they are very greatful for some extra before the winter comes.

he looks like Charley. It's him!

Well, I'm not sure who of the females she is, but we have seen her for several times now in this fall anyway. She is very red still..no gray fur seen at all nor tassels either.
