Oh oh, now the woodpecker tests his luck! Instead of holes on top, where they are not easy to be seen, he started on one further down

We had a green Christmas Eve (or more brown, really ) This is from the day before Christmas.
But yesterday the snow arrived, and this morning we woke up to a white landscape.
I think this is the fourth time we have snow this winter. Each time it lasts only a few days before the mild weather and rain arrives, and washes away the snow away. Only the ice is left, and creates icy roads:(
