Your squirrel looks very sweet.

Screencaputures from my previous videos from yesterday:

There is some mess somewhere, is it in my PC or is it something in Photobucket??
Photobucket is extremely slow, to upload three pictures takes more than 20 minutes. I don't know what to do?? Sometimes it takes so a long time that I can't wait.. I have to do homeworks too.

This one I do not recognize, he has rather thick black tassels
Image

I think I could use picasion gif maker instead of PB ( but I am worried how the pictures are there somewhere in picasion-page??):

This darkish face male is probably Castano.

This can't be true! I'm uploading one single picture in PB, and now it has taken for five minutes, and only 87% of the picture is there.. no, I can't stand this... seven minutes gone: no picture in PB!

Has PB changed something?? :help:
Ten minutes gone, 90% ready.. 'There is an announce 502 Bad Gateway what does it mean??
---
What's up? 15 minutes gone, and no picture uploaded ready, 90% complete.

I have to go..

I wish I had an answer, but I'm not very good at this
Maybe the internet connection was slow, for some reason? It happens here sometimes. And sometimes it helps to turn the computer off, and on again

 I don't know if PB works again. I've heard that some other to had difficulties with it lately.

Anyway, it seems that I can use picasa web album. I have one, but I had forgotten it!

This is from that old album. I have to learn to use it. It's all different to PB.

For squirrels I give broken pea nuts and sun flower seeds, with or without covers. Small birds like to eat this food too, and that's why I broke the nuts - it's not good that they stay sitting and breaking the nuts on the edge of the nut pot, b c poop danger. Now they take a piece of nut or a seed, and fly immediately elsewhere to finish the food.

Actually I have fat balls for birds, of course there are sunflower seeds in the feeder in the midst of the lawn.

On the kitchen side there is a new feeder, little seed-house for small birds where from squirrels have difficult to eat. It's hanging from the eaves, over the stairs.

Down there on the kitchen side on the stone terrace is the high feeder house. Deer like to empty it, not each day or night. I don't know what to do with the White tailed deer? Is it good that get used to come here to eat??

Perhaps I remove the biggest feeder for some days and look what the deer think about ... Do they come behind the door to ask sun flower seeds?? :D :puzzled:

Today I think I saw Paula!

I'm not for 100% that it is her, but she looks very much similar to her. She has not visited lately, and I almost have lost hope to see her anymore - only because she is so old... well, seven years!

Can it be possible?? I've heard that in good conditions red squirrels reach 6-7 years, but must most often they live 2-4 years..

Anyway this squirrel of today behaved like Paula. Paula is balanced and calm and she allows easily company at her lunch, be it male or female.

But if someone does not accept her, she leaves, she seems not to like fighting, generally. Perhaps she has learned that she can return later on, and there is still food her.'

Phantom, it's a male! Or there are two almost similar squirrels, male and female! :D

Felis, I'm sure it is Paula! She has been visiting every now and then, but I vould not believe it is her! She was here too! There is also a misstake here in this post! The squirrel there is not Phantom, but Paula!
viewtopic.php?p=432770#p432770

She turns and looks at the window just like she did yesterday too.

:help: If only I could correct that mistake. I think earlier it has been possible to make corrections and to edit older posts. I can be wrong. Felis, if you are able to help, please, write there on that post:
It's Paula :loveshower:

Merry Christmas from Squirrel Hill!

Image
This is how it looked like in Finland in my childhood in Cristmas! The picture is a postcard by Rudolf Koivu.

Rudolf Kuivu seems to have loved squirrels, squirrels can be seen so often in his postcards:
these postcards from about from 1930-1940
