20 minutes ago in Libstat the only storklet was ringed and pecked the ringer a lot.

The nest in Stare Mesto suffered during thunderstorm and the female was killed. :cry: :cry: Two storklets were taken away to a resque station, the third one left with stork father.

The chicks in Makov were ringed today, but the cam was off at that time.

today on my way, not far from where i live, i discovered them:

first they were about 30-40, but until i could stop and took my cam most of them flew off already

Young white storks started flying and hunting together with parents, so there are many of them around.

Makov: all the storklets are flying somewhere.
JASIEŃSKIE BOCIANY all the five storklets flew away in the morning.
Sokółką also all the five ones are out.

:mrgreen: Yesterday in Makov a turtle appeared from the aviaries and moved to the pond. All the birds except two cygnets were afraid of it and went out of water. It was not clear, what kind of turtle was it.

Mr. Libor Šejna wrote it is Red-eared slider (Trachemys scripta elegans)
