I wrote a lot about my visit to Makov in the youtube chats and here I placed the pictures. I was there on August, 1, Mirka showed us all the animals in the aviaries, the little boar and the little otter. Jirinka was also there. Barunek was in the pond alone, Miki and Hubertici relaxed on the grass. Honzik and Marushka stayed in their nest, Bertik and Rada on the upper nest. I gave bread to Barunek, but he was not hungry and took only a very small piece. Unfortunately because of heat Veijrka, Snehurka and both deers were hiding in the forest, although later Lizinka appeared at the feeder for a very short time and took bread we brought. She is very fast and very shy. Near Makov there is a big pond where ducks and a grey heron stayed.

BTW Čížová is not far from very beautiful city Český Krumlov and it is rather easy to reach it. Verena Mathis in youtube chat said she visited Český Krumlov but at that time had not known about Makov.

Last night Lizinka and Drnka ate in the darkness and their eyes were bright.

Yesterday Jirinka brought fresh hay for the stork nest and today in the morning Lizinka went on the nest and ate it until Vejirka came.

Weather is still nice in Makov.

The aggressive grey heron visited Makov in spring is back and that is the big problem for other birds and Snehurka in particular.
