I stumbled on this whilst reading about a cell-tower taking fire after the ? Osperys probably pecked at the wires. Sadly both opsreys & the nest were destroyed. (Portland)

I found this;

Taken by N A S A & Landsat and given to Google to exploit. Sad news all over our planet,from Amazon forests to Colombian glacier retreat. :cry:

Found this, while searching for "bird damage" very general. It's from this August.
It fits to the world-wide weather caprioles on one hand - on the other shows that besides all those awful storm damages there are people that concern about the fate of animals (birds, on this special site)

February 18th

I couldn't find a suitable place for the post and decided to post it here.

A wildlife camera set up in an area in Niedersachsen/Germany - for 3 weeks.

Looks like she's been moved inside too.
But what we obviously see is fascinating.

I would like to repeat one of the author's contributions from the comments in my own words.
After the female of the pack was shot, the father of the young wolves has now also been released for shooting. Young wolves who still need the protection of their parents.

And more wolves will follow and fall...

Still a nice insight into the hidden wild nature :innocent:
