114.Young White-tailed Eagle surprises family near Radevormwald. Germany, June 2014

According to the article, the family was quite baffled when they found a large raptor in their garden.
The bird was “playing” with toys and a blanket. It is presumed that the youngster was born in a falconry.

Source: RP Online/khe 10 June 2014 http://www.rp-online.de/nrw/staedte/rad ... -1.4297840

Edit, 13 June: rga-online confirms that it was a tame bird – it wore remains of jesses, thin leather straps, which are used to tether raptors in falconry.
Edit, 4 July: According to rga.online, it turned out that the young bird escaped from a falconry at Saarburg – 250 kilometres south of Radevormwald.
