Re: Alutaguse Forest Webcam 2014
It seems to me I know the reason of camera changing. Now we cannot see the place where the food is left. Those who brought this food to the feeding ground always cover the cam, they do not want to be seen for some reason. And know covering is unnecessary- with the new awful angle they can come unnoticed to us. But all the action happened just at the place with food! So what should we look at now?

There are actually 3 places (at least that I know of) where food is laid and covered with a plate. 2 of them are still in full sight, directly ahead, the closest one though is now not visible and slightly to the right of our view. I bet the camera just got turned accidentally while they were covering it when bringing the new food, they will probably correct it again.

I also guess it happened when the cover was taken off the camera. I hope somebody reads this here and will rectify it with the next food delivery. The main place for the food placement is now out of view, which is surely not the intention.

If they moved the cam so easily, it should be good to fasten it better, the cam may fell down some day, for example because of wind

I don't think that can happen so easily, it is securely fastened to a tree. But if the cloth or whatever is used to cover, gets a bit stuck it might have moved it just a little bit, what means already a different view. I have not witnessed today's delivery, so I can't say what happened exactly, only guess.

You better don't close open cams, they can't be opened again. As long as they are open and running, no problem. If I close one and re-open I the VLC get a message saying:
