About 2000-2300 pairs representing 22% of Europe's population of Lesser Spotted Eagles
are nesting in Romania. This film showcases this outstanding species,from the springtime
migration period until they leave again on the their treaturous journey in autumn
towards their winter quarters in Africa. Furthermore, the films depicts the daily life of these birds
as well as the LIFE conservation programme and its measures against potential threats.

Our forum member airras has a friend - Jordi - who works with birds and who shared some of his photos through airras with the forum already previously. Among them also a photo of a juvenile Greater Spotted Eagle - Aquila clanga.

airras sent me the link to a short video Jordi made of the GSE feeding on a rabbit with the permission to link and use it here in the database.

The Slovakian project on Lesser Spotted Eagles just announced the distribution of a really wonderful short film on Lesser Spotted Eagles and their project aim: Together we can Save the Lesser Spotted Eagles
