venegor: what a nice picture. I like this bird so much - we have this kind also here but it is to see very seldom. It remains me a bit on bandits whit the black colour stripes over the eyes.
In the early morning the cam was on, now there is no cam.
Greetings and the wish to see soon more of the birds here. Thank you.

We also have nuthatches here and they are among my favourite birds. I am lucky they often come to my feeder, but they rarely stay longer than it takes to grab a seed and to fly away.Bleggi wrote:venegor: what a nice picture. With the snow so high under the feeder, pigeons can just walk right up & have a bite to eat.

Bird feeder news from Tallinn:
All kindergartens in Tallinn will be presented with a bird feeder this Thursday - made by the 6-8th form students in
Tallinn's schools.
Hmmm - and the bird feeder here at Otepää does look a bit like the famous stage at the great Song Festival Arena in Tallinn ...

Hello!
Why is the bird feeder empty?
It's so cold outside and the birds are freezing and starving
And also why don't you clean the snow under the feeder a little bit, so the pigeons can't get the food so easily..
Cause the pigeons are the reason, why the food ends so quickly

The food we cannot see - it is a bit deeper behind the wood lath (I think). And the snow is removed very often, but at that place it is snowing nearly every day. There is people who take care - please be patient with them. Let us be grateful that the cam is on and the temperatures dont let it be frozen like other ones.
Kindest regards to all
