Greenfinches are singing songs somewhere beyond the cam view.

Oh, sad.
It is that time of year, again. This camera will be switched off and made ready for its next site. The birds will continue to be fed for as long as the weather prevents them from finding their own food.
This topic will be closed shortly - there is still time to post here, if you want.

It is always sad to see a cam close down, even when I know it will be back again next season. Thank you to all who made this cam possible & to all who shared photos, videos, & gifs here. It was a pleasure to see several birds I had not seen before.

I want to also add my thanks, to the feeders, who make it possible to see the birds even from far away and to everyone here for catching the birds at the right moment! It's difficult to pick one picture of the many nice ones I managed to make, but here is one of my favourite pictures of the season as a small good-bye

airras thank you for the sweet little nuthatch -- I am very fond of them and usually they go bzzzt bzzt and they are gone too fast for me.
-----
I meant to say thanks to all who made this possible and thanks to those who posted pictures.
And I am glad to read that feeding continues as long as necessary -- it is just the cam that is closing. It seems winter is unwilling to let go.
