I am sure we can catch a picture of the Magpie sooner or later - in previous years it was sometimes on the ground and in the branches of the tree behind.
The Bullfinch was on the feeder, but rarely. Male and female.

What a coincidence. That article is from today!Felis silvestris wrote: Pärnumaa they have reached already: http://www.parnupostimees.ee/3451741/pa ... gn=fb_post
I is about one Rose-ringed parakeet (Psittacula krameri), but there are reports of six green birds not far away.
It says that these birds do not survive temperature below 15 degrees below zero, but in western Europe they have survived many severe winters.
To me it seems unlikely that it/(they) flew from western Europe to Estonia. An escape is more likely.
In the Netherlands they escaped some 50 years ago. The number has increased to some 10.000 birds but they still have not colonized the whole country. They mainly live in some bigger cities, where they are regular visitors of feeding stations, including mine. So if they lived in Otepää or within a radius of, lets say, 25 Km, we would almost certainly see them on this cam (when it was running).
Another parakeet on the rise is Alexandrine parakeet (Psittacula eupatria)

Introduction of Small Bird Feeder Cam on LK main page, also in English language now:
http://www.looduskalender.ee/en/node/25916
Good news in the article --- sometimes still bumpy transmission shall improve as soon as 4G connection will be established
*We also start the tenth season of "Winter Bird Feeder Web Camera", using an Axis web camera this year. The connection is mobile already for the fifth year. The camera stream reaches from Otepää to Tartu and into the Eenet server by way of an Elisa 4G connection which guarantees a smooth transmission of the image.
The 4G connection will be set up in the next few days; until then there may be occasional glitches in the transmission*
