No wind, no bird to be seen but the fat sausage is strongly dancing! It must be jackdaw at the lower end.

That's what I observe here in my garden, too.

The number refers to Germany since about 1800.

Yes, it's horrible indeed. With the insects is it the same. Much less insects means much less songbirds, it's a great disaster.
And our politicians do nothing, ignore the problem. We have a disastrous agriculture. But we have too much lobbyist.
