Welcome!
Thank you Hellem! :-)

I'm the silent type but I watch a lot. I hope I will get over that it's not Irma any longer, had problems with that last year. The strange thing is that I'm not really a bird lover, as most of you are, so sometimes I wonder why I'm here for about the 5th year in a row. :-)

April 7th
5:55 am
 Good morning, everyone.
The sun is rising in beautiful Tartu. The wind is quiet and the song birds are singing.

Today, 7 April, was the day, last year, when IVO, first arrived. :shake: Will he arrive today? Maybe. Fingers crossed, Ivo will be back home soon, along with, Iiris!

Majvor, greetings to you! Please don’t be shy, when you see something interesting please post about it. Or questions that you might have, ask.
I have been watching the bird cameras for years now, but I am still curious and learning new things. So many others here, are far more knowledgeable than me, and I appreciate them so much! I have always had an interest in birds lives, but adopting my first cat and watching how it would chatter, at the birds, outside of the windows, inspired me to set up a Hummingbird feeder, outside of a window. Then also set up a songbird feeder, in another window. So my cats play a major role in opening more interest for me. 8-)

Hello friends,
around 3:22 p.m. (Estonia time) an osprey flew to the dead tree, sat there for a while and then flew over the nest back into the woods.

I wonder if this osprey is familiar with this nest. A second Osprey was sitting on the dead tree. This is going to be exciting to see who will be the new owner of this nest.

An osprey lands, goes into defensive position, sounds alarm; probably a female

Another very brief landing. It is very alert; apparently, another osprey is around

An osprey is sitting on the dead tree. In the meanwhile, another one lands on the nest very briefly.
It is, most likely, a stranger to this nest - it does not stay/try to defend the nest and rushes away as soon as the other one comes.

The other lands, is defensive

Yes, you are right! It was 15:31. The time numbers are so small I have difficulties in reading them.

It is a real pity that the camera is so unsharp this year...
